Type locality:
Holotype: NSW A010426 (Fig. 1), Ropers Shoal, Corimundi Reef, Caloundra (26° 48' S lat., 153° 08' E long.), Queensland, Australia, A.J.K. Millar, 9. vi. 1988, 8 m deep, epiphytic on Halimeda discoidea Decaisne. The type and only collection consists of liquid-preserved male and female gametophytes and whole mount microscope slides.
