This represents the protologue of Hypoglossum woodwardii. The protologue p. 31 states '... it was found by Mr Wigg amongf[s]t other rejectamenta on the beach at Yarmouth, and from him I was favoured with f[s]pecimens in fructification; it was afterwards found by Mr Crowe, F.L.S. at Cromer in Norfolk, growing on rocks; it has alf[s]o been found by Rev. Dr. Goodenough in various places on the f[s]outhern coaf[s]t of England.'.
