• Comment: Lewis (1987:18) questions the presence of this taxon in QLD, he also places this taxon taxonomically with C. elongatum which according to Silva et al 1996 Univ Calif Public Bot. 79 (see index for pages) is a synonym of Codium decorticatum but has also been misapplied for many other taxa.
